2011 Trick-or-Treating Dates Set

The City of Terre Haute, by special ordinance, will allow trick-or-treating in residential or neighborhood areas within the city limits for two days only.  The days will be Sunday, October 30^th and Monday October 31^st.

Trick-or-treating should begin at 6:00 p.m. and will end with a curfew at 9:00 p.m. each day.  Residents not wanting to participate are urged to leave their porch lights off as an indicator to trick-or-treaters and their parents or guardians.

An extra police detail will be working throughout the night for added safety.  The City will be providing reflective treat bags and safety tips on a first come first served basis.  These will be available after Thursday, October 27^th at the Terre Haute Police Department located at 1211 Wabash Ave.
