This is the passage between the office and the bell tower. Originally, the office was contained in the bell tower, seen on the right here.

Inside the bell tower is this fireplace, once used to heat the old office.

A rope extends through the ceiling up to the top of the bell tower. During funeral processions and on special occasions, the bell is still rung by hand today just as it was a century ago.

Semicircle doors and windows are just another unusual feature of the bell tower's design.

When the interurban trolley was still running, one of its stops was at Highland Lawn. These men are the drivers of the interurban.

The bell tower also contains one of the original section maps from the cemetery. This map of section five was created in 1884.

The original planting plan for the cemetery, also drawn in 1884, hangs in the bell tower as well.

Today, the office is located in this building. Originally, this was a waiting station for the interurban trolley.
