When contacting Information Technology for help, the most important thing to understand is the distinction between a request for technical support, and a project request.
Technical support is defined as a request for help with a piece of information technology (hardware or software) that is broken or that isn't working as expected. Requests for technical support are initiated by creating a helpdesk ticket in our Track-It! helpdesk system. Use the link at the left to request technical support.
A project request is defined as a request to acquire, install, and/or configure a new piece of information technology (hardware or software) that isn't currently installed or in use, or to alter (upgrade, expand, enhance, reconfigure) an existing piece of information technology. Project requests are initiated by filling out an Information Technology Project Request form, and submitting it to the Information Technology Project Management Office.
