Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

  • Execute a weekly, monthly and annual list of activities in support of general cleanliness and maintenance of the Terre Haute Police Department, those systems that support the department and it’s grounds
  • Coordinate the completion of activities by outside vendors and entities in furtherance of proper facility maintenance and those systems that support the facility
  • Assist in the production, activation and issuance of identification cards with facility access
  • Assist in the production and updating of all interior signage designating office occupants and spaces within the Terre Haute Police Department
  • Maintaining serviceability of flags for exterior of building. Such maintenance shall include adherence to orders issued by the Governor of the State of Indiana or other authority regarding flag status

  • Good organization skills.
  • Working ability to solve problems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Working ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Detailed oriented.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Training: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Working Conditions: Office setting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects and use a keyboard.
  • Ability to see within normal parameters.
  • Ability to hear within normal range.
  • Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s).
