GIS Analyst
Department: Engineering
Reports To: Assistant Director of Engineering
FLSA: Exempt
Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):
- Required experiences with ESRI Products
- Configure and develop GIS web mapping applications
- Maintain and expand existing GIS data and technology
- Collaborate with IT Department to address hardware/software requirements
- Collect field data according to project requirements and specifications, supporting data collection for infrastructure inventories and small-scale local project
- Resolve citizen and customer issues, including handling phone inquires
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Coordinate various community planning efforts and neighborhood initiatives
- Assist sustainability commission and manage meeting coordination

- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and with little direction when needed
- Willingness to seek out and attend professional training
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor degree in computer science or related technical field
Experience: Experience in working professional setting or related office work
Working Conditions: Office setting, fieldwork
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform computer activities for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform field inspections
