• Hats may not be worn during a court hearing.
  • Cell phones may not be allowed in the courtroom during a court hearing.
  • Misdemeanor (CM) and Infraction (IF) court hearings are at 8:30am Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
  • Ordinance (OV) court hearings are the first and second Tuesday of each month at 10:30am excluding holidays.
  • When court hearings resume, there may be limited seating for individuals who are not defendants
  • You should make arrangements for child care prior to your court hearing.
  • If you fail to appear for a Misdemeanor court hearing (CM), a warrant for your arrest may be issued.
  • If you fail to appear for an Infraction court hearing (IF) or an Ordinance court hearing (OV), a default judgment may be entered against you.
  • If you arrive AFTER court begins, you may not be allowed in the courtroom and you may miss your court hearing.

DURING COVID, temperatures will be checked, masks will be required and you may not appear in court if any of the following are true:

You have been ordered by a medical professional or health department to quarantine

Proof will need to be submitted to the City Clerk

You have been around someone in the last two weeks who has been ordered to be quarantined.

You are experiencing shortness of breath, fever, or cough in the last 48 hours.
