A defendant that is not represented by an attorney or public defender may file a motion on their case pro se.  

You may need the following information in order to submit an electronic motion:
Case number(s)
Amount due (for Petition To Vacate Fees)
Next court date (for Motion for Continuance)

Please note, some case information from cases prior to 8/29/2011 is not available online.  You may need to contact the City Clerk's Office at 812-244-2103 Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm excluding holidays for more information.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY:
-You will submit one form per case.
-You cannot list multiple cases on a form.
-If you fail to complete the form completely or accurately, the form will NOT be processed. 
-You will be contacted by telephone or US Postal Mail if there are issues with your form(s).
-The City Clerk's Office cannot expedite the process.
-Any orders from the court will be mailed to the defendant.

By submitting the form you are stating:
The person submitting the form is the defendant
The information submitted is accurate and true
You are submitting this form without legal representation
The City Clerk's Office has not given you legal advice on how to proceed

You must enter the CASE NUMBER correctly.  Your submission form will be rejected if you fail to enter the case number correctly.  

Dashes are not allowed when entering case number.

Do NOT enter 84H01 in the form

If you have a case that has a Default Judgment entered and you wish to appear in court, you will need to file a MOTION TO SET HEARING form. 


Have a case that is referred Failure To Appear?

If you have a case that is referred Failure To Appear and it is a court required case, you will need to file a MOTION TO SET HEARING form.
