Terre Haute City Court Case Information Available Online

Terre Haute City Court case information is available online for cases filed beginning August 29, 2011.  There is a small amount of older cases available online but the majority of cases filed prior to August 29, 2011 are not.  You must contact the Terre Haute City Clerk's Office for information on older cases.
Some cases are restricted per Indiana Statutes from public access.
Cases are not available for public access until filed by the Vigo County Prosecutor's Office.  Typically Infraction cases (speeding, seatbelt, etc) are available within five (5) business days.  Misdemeanor cases vary from one (1) day to thirty (30) days to become available for viewing.  Ordinance cases typically are available in two (2) weeks.
If there are no fees shown for your case under the Financial Section, please check to see if a court hearing is scheduled.  If your case is required to be heard during a court hearing, you cannot pay the fees prior to your court hearing.  Failure to appear for your court hearing could result in a Default Judgment, suspension of your license for Failure To Appear or a Warrant being issued for your arrest.
