SUBMITTING PAYMENTS FOR INFRACTION TRAFFIC TICKETS

Please read all FAQs and other general information PRIOR to submitting payment.  CLICK HERE to access that information.

You are responsible for understanding the options available to you PRIOR to payment submission.

READY TO SUBMIT PAYMENT?

If you have a traffic ticket and are NOT required to appear in court, you may submit payment in one of the following manners:

To mail your payment, please do the following:

Mail a MONEY ORDER made payable to the Terre Haute City Clerk to:

Be sure to include your FULL NAME and UTT Number (from ticket) or CASE Number (beginning with 84H01)

If you wish to receive a copy of your receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope

To pay In Person, visit the City Clerk's office and:

You may pay in cash.

We are open Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm excluding holidays

We are located on the first floor of City Hall, room 102.

You will need your case number (beginning with 84H01) or your UTT number

NOTE:  If you have a hearing scheduled, you may not be able to submit payment


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If you submit payment for a case that is court required, your payment may not be processed

Submitting payment will NOT cancel your court hearing 

If you have a CORRECTABLE (Fix-It) offense as well as a charge you need to pay, please CLICK HERE before proceeding

If you submit payment by credit card after hours, on a holiday or a weekend, it may take 48 business hours to process your payment.  This could result in a late fee being applied.
