The Terre Haute City Clerk's Office reserves the right to reject any payment submitted that does not meet the criteria listed or for any reason that the Clerk's Office is unable to process the payment because of local rules, Indiana Statutes or other laws.
INFRACTION CASES
Most traffic tickets are considered Infractions. Examples of "traffic tickets" include Speeding, Seatbelt, Disregarding an Automatic Signal, False/Fictitious Registration, Expired Driver's License. Please CLICK HERE for frequently asked questions.
CORRECTABLE (FIX-IT) OFFENSES
Some of those charges are considered CORRECTABLE (Fix-It) charges. You need to submit proof of correction to the City Clerk's Office on or before your court date. For more information on what a CORRECTABLE charge is, please CLICK HERE.
