Events which have already happened.
7th Street between Wabash Avenue and Ohio Street and Wabash Avenue between 7th and 8th Street will be closed on December 6th from 6:00am until Midnight for the 5th Annual Miracle on 7th Street.
The westbound lane and center lane of Wabash Avenue from 25th Street to Brown Avenue will be closed from October 1st at 8:00 a.m. until November 30th for road reconstruction.
The following streets will be closed on November 11th from 8:45 a.m. until Noon for the Veterans Day Parade: - 4th Street from Chestnut to Wabash - Wabash from 4th to 12th - 12th from Wabash to Mulberry
Cherry Street between 8th Street and 9th Street will be closed on November 9th from 8:00am until 1:00pm for the dedication of the Larry Bird statue.
A portion of the intersection of 25th & Wabash will be closed for road reconstruction from October 28th through November 6th. An eastbound lane will remain open.
The City of Terre Haute will be milling and paving the following streets from October 28th thru November 1st. We will not be totally closing any of the roads listed. We would ask that you not park on the streets during this time frame. If you cannot be contacted, we will have your vehicle towed. Please be patient with us as we make these improvements. North 19th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue and between 8th Avenue and Plum will be closed on October 31st from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. for a Halloween event.
The City of Terre Haute has teamed up with Wabash Valley Habitat for Humanity, Terre Haute Association of Realtors and United Cerebral Palsy of Wabash Valley for a Tree Planting event in the 13th Street Neighborhood, which is bordered by Hulman Street to Cruft and 13th Street to 14th Street.
