A defendant that is not represented by an attorney or public defender may file a motion on their case pro se.
You may need the following information in order to submit an electronic motion:
- Case number(s)
- Next court date (for Motion for Continuance)

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY:
- You will submit one form per case.
- The City Clerk's Office cannot expedite the process.
- You must enter the CASE NUMBER correctly. Dashes are not allowed when entering case number. Do NOT enter 84H01 in the form
- TEXT MESSAGE REMINDERS: If you wish to receive text messages reminding you of upcoming hearing dates, be sure to check the box on the form requesting text messages be sent.

Have a case with a Default Judgment?
If you have a case that has a Default Judgment entered and you wish to appear in court, you will need to file a MOTION TO SET HEARING form.
If you are requesting the fees be waived and are not requesting the disposition be removed, please submit a PETITION TO WAIVE FEES (see below)
Have a case that is referred Failure To Appear?
If you have a case that is referred Failure To Appear and it is a court required case, you will need to file a MOTION TO SET HEARING form.

Have a judgment/disposition on your case and wish to file petition to vacate fees?
Please follow these instructions:
- You must know the case number and the total amount due. Please CLICK HERE to access the online case look-up to find your case number and amount due
- Your case must have a disposition on the charge prior to submitting this form. If your charge(s) does not have a disposition (finding of guilty, default judgment) then you cannot proceed. You must file a MOTION TO SET HEARING.
- Please call our office prior to submitting forms if you have questions. Forms will be rejected if not submitted correctly.
