Update 3/23/2020: Additional COVID-19 precautions are being taken at the local Sewage Billing Office at City Hall. Staffing in the local office will be reduced and rotated to minimize contact. Essential tasks will continue to ensure the timely processing of payments and invoices. Clean water for Terre Haute is essential to our public health and we are committed to doing our part.

Last Updated 3/20/2020: Starting immediately, the Sewage Billing office located at City Hall is CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. We strongly encourage citizens to utilize online and phone payment methods. We have taken steps to ensure that citizens are minimally impacted and want to make the safety of our community a priority. If you have received a DISCONNECT NOTICE in the mail you are not in danger of having your water shut off. Letters were already in the mail while COVID-19 developments were rapidly changing. Call the local office at (812) 244-2343 to discuss the best strategy to keep your bill manageable. When billing operations return to normal, any account eligible for disconnect will receive an additional notice prior to any shut off action.
