NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of the City of Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers of said Municipality at their regular meeting place of City Hall Courtroom, 17 Harding Avenue, Terre Haute, Indiana, on the 13th day of July, 2023 at 6:00 o'clock P.M. will consider the following appropriation which said officers consider necessary to meet the extraordinary emergency at this time. If the proper legal officers do not take action on that day, the appropriation will be heard again at the next regular meeting on the 3rd day of August, 2023 at 6:00 o’clock P.M. Taxpayers appearing at such meeting shall have a right to be heard thereon. The additional appropriations as finally made will be automatically referred to the State Board of Tax Commissioners. The Board will make a written determination of the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
