Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day with Storytelling and Creativity!

Join the Terre Haute Human Relations Commission and the Vigo County Public Library for a special read-aloud event honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Through an engaging story and a fun craft activity, children will learn about the Civil Rights Movement and how Dr. King’s message of equality and kindness continues to inspire us today.

Activities:

• Read Aloud: Listen to a story about Dr. King's life and inspiring words.
• Craft Activity: Create a civil rights collage or bookmark!
• Book Giveaway: Each child will receive a free book related to the Civil Rights Movement while supplies last.

Special Guest Reader: We’re excited to welcome Mayor Brandon Sakbun as our special guest reader, who will bring Dr. King's inspiring story to life.
