Jones Trailhead

Thanks to the generous gift from the Delmar and Betty Jones family fund, the most beautiful extension of the National Road Heritage Trail came to life in October of 2010. 

This trail travels approximately .30 miles Eastward from the Twigg Rest Area.

The trailhead currently includes parking for people wishing to use the Heritage Trail. 

Upon completion, the trailhead will include restrooms, an educational garden, an amphitheater and ecological restoration.
