  • Phase 1 – Clubhouse renovation

                        Construction is in progress. Groundbreaking ceremony of the clubhouse is scheduled on March 18th.

                       Project cost - $3.4 million

                       Project Team –

    • Contactor Hannig construction
    • Friends of Rea Park
    • TH Parks and Recreational Department

     

    Phase 2 – Rea Park perimeter trail around the park and connect to TH trail system. Engineering department is working on design of the trail.

     

    Phase 3 – Existing facilities improvements and new public park amenities

LOCATION – 7th Street and E Davis DR

FACTS –

  • 160 ACRES
  • Contains 18 holes, par 72 golf course that plays 6482 yards
  • Current Amenities – Practice green, driving range, maintenance facilities and a clubhouse along with nine tennis courts

 

PROJECT GOALS -

  • Restore the historic clubhouse to become the focal point of the park
  • Propose public park amenities including kids’ playground and splash pad
  • Other facilities improvements including tennis courts, parking lots, shelters and restroom facilities
  • Propose perimeter trail around the park and propose connection to TH trail system
