Department:  Cemetery                               

Reports To:    Cemetery Foreman               

FLSA:            Non-Exempt

Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

• Mowing, trimming, weeding and general maintenance of grounds
• Maintaining all buildings, fences, roads and equipment
• Digging and pouring foundations
• Removing snow and leaves as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Must be able to work well with other employees and the public
• Ability to problem solve
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Ability to operate heavy equipment preferred
• Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment preferred
• Must have valid driver’s license, Class B or higher CDL preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Training:  High School Diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions: Outdoors and in extreme heat or extreme cold weather conditions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift at least 75lbs
• Able to bend, stoop and flex in order to complete responsibilities of position
• Ability to see within normal parameters
• Ability to hear within normal range
• Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s)
